Wellbutrin

Wellbutrin is the prescribed brand name which contains Bupropion as the main ingredient. Bupropion is a helpful medicine in giving up smoking and as an antidepressant. This medicine works by changing the mood and hence increases the level of neurotransmitters and lessens the symptoms of depression.
Before taking Bupropion certain factors had to be kept in mind to avoid its side effects. It should be consulted that is it good for you or not. So it is always preferred that if you are taking wellbutrin then inform your doctor because there many drugs which can intermingle with Bupropion.
If a person is alcoholic and drinks lot of coffee or smoke drugs then he must immediately contacts to the doctor if he is facing any problems because Bupropion is not suitable and is advised to be taken in fewer doses. Some such cases are: -
- Epilepsy
- Kidney failure
- Eating disorder
- Head injury
- Cerebral tumors
- Insomnia
- Alcoholism
- Heart diseases
- Suicidal thoughts
- Liver failure
- Diabetes.
